Candlemas, Imbolg, OIMELC New growth, end of winter, rituals of purification, candle rituals. Considered to be one of the 4 Great Sabbats.
Dedicated to Brigid the GODDESS of Fire and Inspiration. GODDESS of Fertility, that which was born at SOLSTICE now begins to manifest. This is a time to plant the seeds of short term goals for the new cycle and new energy. The candle procession symbolizes the Feast of the Waxing light celebrating the Rebirth of the Sun.
$10.00 charge (suggested color for attire is red and white for the females and white and black for the males – not required for attendance)
A PARTICIPATORY RITUALS WHICH ALL ARE WELCOMED TO TAKE PART OF ALL AGES,GENDERS AND RACES.
BRING FOODS AND DRINKS TO SHARE: WINES, JUICES, CAKES, SEASONAL BREADS ETC.
IF ANYONE HAS HAND INSTRUMENTS PLEASE BRING THEM, as we create our own music.
