In 1994 and 1995 studied Witchcraft as a Science in the Cabot Tradition at Enchantments Inc., attaining her 1st and 2nd degree under Laurie Cabot's wise teachings.

She has been organizing and serving the New York City Pagan Community for over 15 years providing lectures, classes, workshops and festivals related to the Pagan Community.

Is an Eclectic Solitary Wiccan Witch. She studied theology, mythology and magic since she was a child, where magic seems to have always been a part of her life. She is a teacher, artist and scientist by trade. Becoming Wiccan was like coming home to her. Finally a group of people focused on what was really important. People that understood the only way to change your world is to change yourself; not to point the finger at others. Most people don’t know how powerful they can be.
She went to a Charmed by Starr event looking for a group to share the holidays with. It wasn’t the first group she went to, but just like before it felt like home. They inspired her to become the founder of the New York City Pagan Council; a pagan civil rights organization. Soon after that Starr and Luna founded the
daughter also inspired her to write Wiccan books for children and workbooks

Now under the aegis of Charmed By Starr, and teaching under The Wiccan Family Temple subjects such as Tarot and StarLight Vision. Then began teaching under The Wiccan Family Temple Academy of Pagan Studies on a variety of Craft-related subjects, with special teaching emphasis on Divination (including Tarot and Astrology), Psychic Defense, History, Craft Philosophy and Magical Apothecary.
Being a mother herself, she became one of the members of The New York City Wiccan Family Temple, and became co-founder of Wiccan Family Temple Academy of Pagan Studies. She also became a member of The New York City Pagan Council, all of which were founded in 2007.

Introduction to Shamanism and The Native Spiritual Path
Kurt is a ceremonial drummer and singer, and a pipe carrier and trained as a Water Pourer in a Lakota Medicine Tradition. He is part Native American, along with French, Black, German and assortment of other “all-American” heritage's.
An accomplished practicing Martial Artist, ranking in Shotokan and Shaolin Kempo, Karate and jujutsu, with an instructors certificate in Yang Short Form T’ai Chi Ch’uan.
Singing since he was a boy with his family, then in a Cub/Boy Scout Christmas Chorus. Through Boy Scout was exposed to Native American Pow Wow, ceremonial drumming and singing. He has participated in two personal prayer fasts, received a Scared Pipe, and supported a traditional Sun Dance.
In 1994, his interest in sacred music led him to organize the Four Winds Earth Chorus, a volunteer interfaith chorus for almost 12 years, doing sacred singing and drumming, chant and dance. They produced 2 CD’s and in 2006 recorded a percussion positive version of “The Little Drummer Boy.”
He married a Wiccan Deist Solitary, and had two teenage sons. He is very proud to share what he knows with this community.

An exploration of the ritual use of chant and sacred song. Several modes and cultural
traditions will be touched upon, with a focus in practical ceremonial use of song and
chant. The use of the drum to create and focus energy and mood will also be explored.
Introduction to Shamanism and The Native Spiritual Path
A fist look into the “way of the Wounded Warrior”, or Shaman. An introduction to the
methods and over all principles of Shamanism. The discussion will lead into an overview
of Native Spirituality, with a look into the Medicine path of the Lakota Sioux.

Besides teaching others to garden, she is an herbalist in the Herbal Wife tradition, is a trainee of the Herbal Bear School - is a practitioner of Susun Weed www.susunweed.com and Kiva Rose's methodologies, and follows the flower shaman/Medicine Woman path of nature. Most importantly is her desire to help people find their own sense of health an happiness.
