An Introduction to the Tree of Life -Qaballah / Kabalah

·         Course Description: Elective
An introduction to the Qaballistic Tree of Life, and its meanings.

 

Ancient Druids and Celts

·         Course Description- Pagans in general
A course designed to introduce you to the background of the ancient Druids and Celts: their origins, society, beliefs, appearance and languages. They divided society into three groups. The druids, who were learned priests, shamans and judges; the military aristocracy, who were the power-holders and the heroes; and the free men, who were farmers and owned cattle. Both men and women were thought to be immensely brave in battle.

 

Ancient Egyptian Culture

·         Course Description: History of
Ancient Egyptian Culture introduces the student to the general society of
Egypt, the importance of the King, Goddesses and Gods of the Ancient Egyptian Culture, along with the practices of the priests and priestesses of the temples. It also gives the student a fairly clear time line of the history of the pharaohs, the geography associated with each, and how each pharaoh would incorporate his god into his reign.

 

Ancient Etruscan Civilization

·         Course Description: Italian Strega
A course that focuses on the Etruscan civilization and the foundation it laid for future
Italy; ancient Etruscan Gods and Goddesses; omens, portends and prodigies and how they related to everyday life; the early Etruscan Kings and the Etruscan language.

 

Basics of Vodou / Santeria

·         Course Description: Elective – African / Latin pagans
An introduction to the often misunderstood African religion Vodou, its beliefs and practices.

 

Besom - the Witches' Broom

·         Course Description – A ritual tool used by Witches
An introduction to the creation and use of the "Besom" or Witches' Broom and the crafting of one.

 

Creating Sacred Space

·         Course Description – Natural Space
This course will discuss the use of all of Earth as a Sacred Space, creating it when needed at any time or place.  Learn to center yourself to focus on what you are trying to accomplish in your Sacred Space that you have created.  Portable Sacred Space etc.

 

Crystal and Gem Magick

·         Course Description – Natural earth tools
This course will discuss the use of gems, crystals and other stones for magickal purposes. It covers: the selection of stones and care and maintenance of those used as spiritual tools, the meanings and correspondences of specific stones, spellwork, healing, divination, geomancy and wearing magickal jewelry. Advice on gem buying and gem qualities, treatments and values.

 

Divination with a Tarot Divination Deck

·         Course Description – Oracle usages
Requires the purchase of a Divination deck for this class (the choice is yours as to which one)

 

Dreamworking             

·         Course Description – 2nd & 3rd Degree
This course is the more advanced concepts such as Dreamweaving and Prophetic dreaming. It will provide a roadmap for the new Dreamer toward finding there way into their own Dreamworks.

                                                            

Feline Magick – 3rd Degree

·         Course Description – Your feline familiar and how to work with it responsibly.
Covering how to implement your own familiar into spell casting, as well as who were the famous and most revered known cat deities and why even to this day, the feline is so highly respected by Witches.

·         Course Description – She is covered more in depth- and the other names she is referred as.
A look at beliefs about the great Goddess
Isis, known by over Ten Thousand Names.

An exploration of Gaia, Goddess, Gods, how do we find one that works well with us, learning about their many aspects, names and what role they have played historically and in myths.

 

Historically Speaking of Witchcraft

·         Course Description:  The modern view
Preview the book, The Meaning of Witchcraft by Gerald Gardner, Laurie Cabot, Silver RavenWolf, StarHawk and many other authors.  Whose many books have been keeping up or Eclectically adapting WitchCraft / Wicca for us today.  That has in some way influenced who we are as Witches today.

 

Introduction to Aromatherapy

·         Course Description:
The art of practice and the many uses of aromatherapy in our daily lives and the many therapeutic use of scents.

 

Introduction to Divination

·         Course Description:
A course on the Art of Divination. The many methods of divination, from the common to the curious to the bizarre. Many methods have been lost or obscured by the passing of time and the changing of civilizations. Methods such as Astrology, Tarot Card reading, Tea Leave reading, Numerology, Runes, and Horoscopes have survived into the present and are both popular and in widespread usage.

An introduction of the metaphysical aspects of dreams and dream interpretation.

An exploration of Magickal Grimoires: books of magic and spells.

Introduction to The Healing Arts – 2nd Degree

·         Course Description: The many alternative methods
Since the dawn of time man has fallen ill, and have found methods of healing has been his reprieve. The topic of naturally healing oneself is so extensive and complex we cannot fully expect to cover it all in one course. You will be given a basic overview of the history, basics, ethics, a few forms of healing that have survived and evolved from our ancestors, and how they affect our world today.

 

Introduction to the Witches’ Alphabet

·         Course Description:  Another language for Witches to learn
Being introduced to the Witches’ alphabet, its origins, associations and uses.

 

Introduction to Wicca / WitchCraft – Living the Life Choice.

·         Course Description:
A guide to Living Life as a Wiccan/Witch.  This is for someone who is curious about Wicca, but has no experience in it. This course teaches you to connect with the Goddess and the God, to develop psychic and ritual skills, what a spell is, why and how to do it, and much, much more.

 

Magickal Cooking

·         Course Description:
Discussing ways to introduce magick into your cooking. Correspondences for foods and herbs used in cooking as well as discussing types of recipes and foods  for the sabbats Bring in recipes for this class.

 

Magickal Names

·         Course Description:
A place to help with your new magical names. The many ways to go about choosing your name.

 

Making Your Own Incense – 2nd Degree

·         Course Description:
Learn how to make your own incense in this course!  Essentially crafting your way there.

 

Psychic Safety and Skills

·         Course Description:  Protection & Prevention of oneself or others
A look at psychic safety skills in general and for all uses.

 

Mythical and Magical Creatures

·         Department: Wicca / Subject: Animals

·         Course Description: Elective
An introduction to some of the known magical creatures from world mythology and folklore.  Including the
Phoenix, dragons, and more, oh my!

 

 

Right Hand Path and Left Hand Path – 2nd Degree

·         Course Description:
An examination of the differences between the so-called "Right Hand" and "Left hand" paths. The ‘are you a good Witch or a bad Witch’ syndrome.

 

Ritual in Theory and Practice

·         Course Description:
An exploration of the art of Wiccans/Witches ritual construction in respect to the Esbats and Sabbats, focusing on how to construct your own personal rituals.

 

European Paganism – 2nd Degree

·         Course Description: Elective
An introduction to Paganism in general across Europe, including Russia, Italy, Ireland, etc.

 

Sacred Sounds in Ritual

·         Course Description – The instruments and sounds for rituals
This course will discuss the use of instruments, drums, shakers etc. to create energy to a crescendo when needed for our many rituals.  Practice of some songs.  Come with instruments.  Can be created for solo rituals as well as group.  So lets jam people.

 

Scrying – Mirrors, water, Pendulums and other Methods

·         Course Description:
The many use of different types of tools for divination.

 

Seance – Intro. 3rd Degree

·         Course Description:
Everyone has heard of "Seances". This class is an examination of what a seance really is and how to hold one. Including protection, fear and debunking any urban myths about it in general.

 

Shrine Development – 2nd Degree

·         Course Description:
The concepts and many procedures involved in the creating and maintaining a Shrine.

 

Spell Writing – Basic through advanced in 1st, 2nd & 3rd Degree

·         Course Description:
This course consists of a few lessons, each with a small questionnaire at the end. Introduction to the methodology of writing your own spells. Familiarity with the First Degree lessons will be useful as a background to the further studies of manipulation of energy.  Further methods of into spell works

 

Tarot Basics:                   

·         Course Description:
An exploration of Tarot cards and the art of reading them.

 

The Egyptian Pantheons

·         Course Description:
A look at ancient Egyptian Deities, their history, how much have they influenced the world in general?

 

The Many Rituals of A Witches Life

·         Course Description:
The many rituals throughout a Witch’s life from birth to death.  They all mark our lives through different phases of it.  Exploring the stages Pre-birth, teen, adulthood, crone, etc.  And I am sure you can think of more as we journey on this path together.

 

The Magick of the Archangels – 2nd Degree & Advanced studies in 3rd Degree

·         Course Description: Working with specific Angels
They act as divine messengers or guides.  Delving into the history of angelic magick. Specifically, focus on the archangels of the Tree of Life and those of the four directions- Uriel, Gabriel, Michael and Raphael, and learn now to work with each through ritual to manifest change in your life and understand your own angelic nature and true purposes in our lives.

 

The Norse Pantheon

·         Course Description:
Basic information on the deities of the Norse Gods and Goddesses

 

The Realms of the Faery – 2nd Degree

·         Course Description:
A look at beliefs about Faeries and the Faery realm.  Faery magick, seeing and working with them.

 

The Witch’s Plant Familiar – 2nd Degree

·         Course Description:
Many Witches are have allied with the spirits, forming a bond with the plant world.  The spirits of herbs, flowers and trees can act as divine guides, protectors and tutors in magick, healing and transforming the Witch.  Each one has its own spirit medicine, that is in harmony with the Witch’s work and purpose in the world.  We will discuss many of the traditional plants of the Witch, including the spirits of Nightshade, Monkshood, Thorn Apple, Mandrake, Oak, Apple, Hazel, Birch, Rose, Mugwort, Wormwood and Angelica.  Learn how to find and work with your own plant familiar.

 

The Witches way of Gardening – 3rd Degree

·         Course Description:
Gardening the Wiccan/Witches Way, can the modern Witches find ways to grow there needs.

 

The Witches Esbats

·         Course Description:
A look at the eight Wiccan/Witches Esbats, Full, New, Blue Moons etc.  How does it correlate to our lives historically and in today’s urban cities.  (Homework to be picked up later in the year after you have picked on the many studies during that time.)

 

The Witches Sabbats

·         Course Description:
A look at the eight Wiccan/Witches Sabbats, or major holidays.  How many are there?  There correlation to the Lunar, Gregorian Calendar, Julian Calendar and the Mayan Calendar.  (Homework to be picked up later in the year after you have picked on the many studies during that time.)

 

 

 

 

The Witches Companion - The Familiar Advanced 2nd Degree & 3rd Degree

·         Course Description:
An exploration of the famous concept of the Witches' "Familiar", or magical animal companion. Working with a familiar and learning how to train a familiar with honor and respect.

An overall view of many tools that are used as ritualistic or ceremonial items across a wide variety of paths.

Witchcraft and The Tree of Life

·         Course DescriptionHow does Ceremonial magick raise its head in modern Witchcraft?
Many Witchcraft practices are drawn from the traditions of “high” magick, also known as Ceremonial Majick, though not all Witches are aware of the influence of Ceremonial Majick upon our Craft.  Hermetics, Alchemy and Qabalah have all become entwined with the rebirth of Witchcraft.  The Qabalistic Tree of Life, depicting ten levels of consciousness and twenty-two paths of transformation, is used by Magicians and Witches alike.  Join us for an exploration of the Tree of Life and the rituals of Ceremonial Majick, from the Witch’s perspective.  Learn how to integrate this wisdom into your own personal practice, and whether you will adapt in into your personal practice.

An introductory course, working on what is a Book of Shadows, its history, how to start your own. The student will feel comfortable in taking the first step in creating what will be his or her wondrous journey through Wicca/WitchCraft, and their many books they will create.

 

Wands – An introduction to - 2nd Degree

·         Department: Wicca / Subject: Ritual Tools

·         Course Description:
An introduction to the creation and use of the "Magic Wand". A course that introduces you to Wands. What is a Wand? Why do you use one? How big is it? What is a Wand made of? Can't I just buy one? All these questions will be answered in this basic Wand course.
